The holiday weekend is here and I finally get to try the Shack Corn Dog that I see pop up on the Shake Shack menu on every Labor Day Weekend. It’s available starting today, Friday until Monday, and only a seasonal special. I’ve been eyeing this corn dog for a while now and never seem to make it to a Shake Shack in time. Luckily there is a fairly new Shake Shack in the Orlando area and I stopped in with a friend today and we both ordered a Shack Corn Dog each.

This is how you kick off a Labor Day Weekend! Two Shack Corn Dogs and we also split a Shack Stack and shared an order of Cheese Fries topped with Cherry Peppers (for an added kick of spice and flavor).

Shack Corn Dogs – Vienna all-beef hot dog dipped in Shack-made corn batter, cooked golden brown and served with Rick’s Picks sweet corn relish
The Shack Corn Dog has a good hot dog to batter ratio and tastes great. The Rick’s Picks sweet corn relish adds a light sweetness and is a good dipping sauce. No additional ketchup or mustard is needed.

Peach Pie Oh My Concrete – vanilla frozen custard blended with a slice of delicious Shack-made peach pie
Also on special this Labor Day weekend is the Peach Pie Oh My Concrete dessert. A nice blend of peach pie and vanilla frozen custard. Not too sweet and a good dessert to end with.
Both of these are definitely worth stopping for this weekend at Shake Shack. The Shack Corn Dog won’t be back until next year (usually for Memorial Day) so get yours this weekend. (Not available at ballparks, airports, or international locations)
