Capture the Bite Food Photography Workshop at East End Market in Orlando (POSTPONED)

Food photography has been a big focus of this blog over the years and I’ve enjoyed speaking and teaching photography at various conferences in the past. I’m very excited to announce that we’re throwing our next Capture the Bite food photography workshop NOW TO BE DETERMINED this November 16-18, 2018 at East End Market in Orlando, FL! We will be covering food photography, food styling and of course eating good food.

*EDIT:

Capture the Bite Orlando has been postponed to a later date next year in 2019. Due to a combination of scheduling conflicts with interested attendees and being close to the Thanksgiving holiday has made us move the date to accommodate those interested. We will announce a new date, so please stay posted. Thank you for understanding!
(updated on Monday, October 15, 2018)

I’m teaming up with my friend and photographer colleague, Faith Gorsky of anediblemosaic.com who is a talented cookbook author, food stylist and photographer to host this event. We teamed up last year with Disney to host our first Capture the Bite photography workshop for food and travel influencers and it was a total success. This year we’re offering our workshop to everyone who wants to amp up their photography skills and take their photos to the next level. You ALL are invited!

Photo and food styling by Faith

What we will be teaching:

• How to style and shoot a restaurant commercial session
• How to control light and shoot with both natural and artificial lighting
• How to style a photoshoot to tell a story
• Mobile phone photography tips
• Lots of hands-on food styling and photo shooting opportunities

Who is this workshop for?

We’re focusing on intermediate to advanced-level skills, but the workshop is open to everyone who wants to improve their food photography and food styling. This workshop could be a valuable resource for food bloggers, social media influencers, content creators, food PR and local restauranteurs.

Registration is now open! We’re keeping the group small to 20 people so we can devote as much attention to each attendee. Plus there are 5 VIP spots available for those who want a more in-depth session.
