Capture the Bite Food Photography Workshop at East End Market in Orlando (POSTPONED)

Food photography has been a big focus of this blog over the years and I’ve enjoyed speaking and teaching photography at various conferences in the past. I’m very excited to announce that we’re throwing our next Capture the Bite food photography workshop NOW TO BE DETERMINED this November 16-18, 2018 at East End Market in Orlando, FL! We will be covering food photography, food styling and of course eating good food. *EDIT: Capture the Bite Orlando has been postponed to a later date next year in 2019. Due to a combination of scheduling conflicts with interested attendees and being close to the Thanksgiving holiday has made us move the date to accommodate those interested. Droolius 7 Year Blog Anniversary

It’s hard to believe I started this blog 7 years ago. A project created to showcase my photography has turned into a brand, with opportunities to travel and also teach food photography. Speaking at conferences and teaching how to photograph food has become a regular occurrence in the past year. We hosted our first Capture the Bite workshop which was a success with food and travel influencers at Disney World. We have more photography workshops planned in the near future and those will be announced as details unfold. Ok enough reflecting, let’s get to the food! Ingredients include sweet beans, jellies, coconut jelly, fruits, covered …

Authentic Irish Celebration at Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs

When celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, forget eating cabbage and corned beef or drinking green beer. Those are not authentic or traditional Irish food or drinks to celebrate Saint Patrick’s day. Instead, celebrate like the Irish at the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Disney Springs. The Mighty Festival just started on Friday, March 11th and runs for seven days until the big St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Plenty of time to drink pints of Guinness, eat authentic Irish food and experience live music entertainment and dancers straight from Ireland.   (click image to enlarge) The menu features cuisine by Irish celebrity chef and PBS/Create TV personality Kevin Dundon. Last year I shared my experience from Ireland on our Raglan Road Trip with Chef Kevin. Experiencing the way he creates Irish classics with a modern twist translates into the Irish menu at Raglan Road and is a must try during the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival. The dinner menu features a special dish, loin of bacon and …
