Michelin-Starred Chef Joins Kevin Dundon to Host Signature Lunch and Dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Downtown Disney

‘A Tale of Two Chefs’ Events March 13 and 14 feature Dundon and Chef Derry Clarke

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Two of Ireland’s highest-profile chefs will host “A Tale of Two Chefs” Signature Lunch and Chef Demo March 13 at 1 p.m. at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Downtown Disney Pleasure Island. Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon and his best friend, renowned Michelin-starred chef Derry Clarke, proprietor of the award-winning Dublin restaurant l’Ecrivain, will collaborate on the lunch and demo, then meet again to entertain guests March 14 at 6:30 p.m. during “A Tale of Two Chefs” gourmet Signature Dinner.

Chef Kevin Dundon, known for his five-star Dunbrody House hotel and cookery school in Ireland, is Raglan Road master chef and creator of the pub menu as well as author of multiple cookbooks. Michelin Star Chef Derry Clarke has been chef/owner of l’Ecrivain for more than 22 years. Both chefs are passionate about creating dishes from the freshest locally sourced ingredients.

On March 13 at 1 p.m., the chefs, inspired by Irish and French cuisine, will collaborate on stage in Raglan Road’s Grand Dining Room as they demonstrate each of three lunch courses paired with wines ($55 plus tax and gratuity):

· First Course — Hickory-smoked Free-Range Chicken Breast with Spring Vegetables and Soft Quail Eggs with Apple and Pear Dressing

· Second Course — Papillote of Lemon Sole with Baby Potatoes, Sea Asparagus and Citrus Essence

· Third Course — Poached Pear with a Crème Brulee Foam and Beetroot Macaroon

On March 14 at 6:30 p.m., the chefs join creative forces for a fun evening as they showcase a gourmet Signature Dinner to include craft ale and wine pairings ($105 plus tax and gratuity). Dundon and Derry will meet their guests and share stories of their friendship during the “Tale of Two Chefs” Signature Dinner, to include:

· First Course – Langoustine in Kaffir Pastry with Tomato Jelly and Chili Jam

· Second Course – Potato Salad with a Garden Herb Foam

· Third Course – Sweet Pea Soup served with a Pea Panacotta

· Fourth Course – Rack of Spring Lamb and Braised Cottage Lamb Pie, Farm Fresh Vegetables with Twice-Cooked Roast Potato

· Fifth Course – Layered Chocolate Indulgence Infused with Coffee with an Irish Twist
