Kappo at East End Market Is Still Going Strong!

Kappo at East End Market has been leading the charge and standing their ground on the way they serve their food and with respect to their cuisine. Recently they have been told by the Orlando DBPR to install a sneeze guard, which does not make sense due to the fact the are not a salad bar and many restaurants in Orlando do not have a sneeze guard which could be considered to have a similar set up to Kappo. Regardless on what has gone down so far, many people in Orlando are in support of Kappo and have signed a petition on Change.org to show their support with 2000+ signatures. Needless to say, lots of people in Central Florida want Kappo to continue the way they are serving.

Kappo will continue to serve and we’ll see what solution they come up with working with the Orlando DBPR. I’m proud of what the chefs at Kappo have accomplished and stood up for themselves to make a difference. Support them and continue to dine with them!

Kappo is open from Tuesday to Sunday, serving lunch 11am – 3pm, then to-go plates from 3pm – 7pm.

My Chirashi bowl at Kappo for lunch on Friday afternoon. Some of the best cuts of fish you’ll experience in Orlando. Try this bowl if you haven’t already.
