2016 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Outdoor Kitchens Food Guide

The 2016 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has officially started and it’s running for 90 days this year, from March 2nd until May 30th. This festival always has something new to see with Disney character topiaries, gardens, seminars and how-to demonstrations. Matsusaka Beef Debuts at Four Seasons Resort Orlando with Tasting Menu at Capa Steakhouse

Premium Japanese Wagyu beef is a delicacy that is making its way to the U.S. and the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is debuting a special grade of Matsusaka beef today. Available at Capa Steakhouse, a special tasting menu called “From Matsusaka with Love” features a three course menu for two guests. This special menu is offered from February 10 to 15, 2016 and it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking for special dining plans, this would be a good one to experience. “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro To Kick Off Rockin’ Burger Block Party at Epcot Food & Wine Festival on November 6

The third Rockin’ Burger Block Party at the 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is going down on Friday, November 6th. “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro will kick off the evening of burgers, drinks, and music. This is a new premium event for Epcot Food & Wine Festival and will be the final one this year. If you enjoy burgers, this event is for you.   (click image to enlarge) The event runs from 7-9 p.m. at World Showplace in Epcot with a DJ is spinning fun music to eat and dance to. Guests have a choice to try more than a dozen inventive burgers with lots of different flavors and ingredients. Each attendee receives a guitar pick to vote for their favorite burger. There’s a variety of drinks to try, from wine to various cocktails. Morimoto Asia Opens at Disney Springs with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto – Video & Photos

The Orlando restaurant scene just stepped up its game with the grand opening of Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is evolving his skills as a restaurateur by opening his first pan-Asian dining experience at Morimoto Asia. This restaurant concept is a collaboration between Chef Morimoto and the Patina Restaurant Group, showcasing flavors from across Asia with an emphasis on China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand.   (click image to enlarge) Our resident videographer, Thomas Babiarz of TomimotoFilms, attended the event for us and took some great photos and even created an awesome video of the opening event. Izakaya Pop-Up at Redlight Redlight with Kappo

When two great local Orlando businesses collaborate on beer and food, it can only turn into one awesome event! Kappo at East End Market will be doing a Izakaya Pop-Up at Redlight Redlight on Sunday, March 29th. This event is tomorrow! Kappo is serving a Japanese inspired menu that will include Yakitori, Kushiyaki, Karaage, and more. Chef Andy Bates’ “British Invasion” Pop Up Dinner In Orlando

Chef Andy Bates from the United Kingdom visited Orlando and collaborated to create a “British Invasion” Pop Up Dinner with Al Ruiz of local food truck, Sushi & Seoul on the Roll. Chef Bates prepared a few proper English treats that evening to give us a taste of good British pub food. The ticketed pop-up dinner took place back in November at Redlight Redlight Beer Parlour in Orlando’s Audubon Park Garden District. Andy Bates is a celebrity chef for Food Network UK and is the host of Andy Bates Street Feasts, a show discovering street food and the stories behind the food. The connection of Chef Bates and Al of Sushi & Seoul food truck comes from an episode they filmed together for the show, Andy Bates American Street Feasts, for Food Network UK.
