What is a Food Pod? Well it’s an event where six of Orlando’s food trucks will be in one location for all food lovers, families, and foodies to gather together and eat. These food trucks have their general locations where they serve during the week and on weekends, but they all are coming together to spread the food truck culture. You saw the successful Orlando Food Truck Bazaar, well the food trucks want to make a weekly home together and serve together.
Think of Voltron where all five robot lions came together to form one massive force to defend the Universe! Well these food trucks will be serving up some great tasting food to feed the hungry people of Orlando in one location. This event is in hopes to create a weekly food truck event, similar to what can be found in cities like Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, NYC and other food truck cities. It is all about sharing the love of the food truck culture and enjoying the food!

Just found out about the food pods. Any chance of a pod in Orlando Central Park, Premeir row, OBT, and Sand Lake area? There are a lot of warehouse workers in that park, 400+ in my building alone, and lots of family neighborhoods too.
@Jim – those are great ideas for locations, not sure which trucks would be able to get permission but I’ll pass along the info. Red Eye BBQ is now at Howl at the Moon on International Drive on Fridays & Saturdays and World of Beer Mon & Wed nights. Some of the other trucks go to World of Beer at nights as well…
